Obit: Mildebrath, Albert (1860 – 1943)
Surnames: Mildebrath, Mahron, Kasten, Neubecker, Tank, Klempf, Spaete, Schultz, Ulrich, Havlicek, Lenz, Sonheim Source: The Clark County Press (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) 11 Feb. 1943 Mildebrath, Albert (18 Sept. 1860 -5 Feb. 1943) Albert Mildebrath, a resident of this county for 48 years, passed away at the Marshfield Hospital on the morning of February five, after an illness of several months. He was 82 years of age. Mr. Mildebrath was born Sept. 18, 1860, in Germany, coming to this country 61 years ago. He was married to Albertena Mahron in Ottowa, Ill., who preceded him in death. They were the parents of seven children, of whom the following survive: Herbert Mildebrath, Neillsville; Walter Mildebrath and Albert Mildebrath, Chicago; Mrs. Annie Kasten, Appleton and Mrs. Helen Neubecker, Chicago. He also leaves two half brothers of Appleton. One brother and two sisters preceded him in death. Mr. Mildebrath was fair with his fellow men throughout life. He was an ideal husband and father and a helpful neighbor and friend as long as he was able to lend his assistance. After the death of his wife, mr. Mildebrath carried on his farming operations along for many years, but of late he had been living with his son. Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon, Feb. 8, 1943. Brief services were held at the Jaster Funeral Home at 1:30. Followed by the regular service at two at St. John’s Lutheran Church, the Rev. Klempf of Alma Center conducting. Interment was made in the Neillsville Cemetery. The pallbearers were Carl Spaete, Helmuth Schultz, Ernest Ulrich, Charles Havlicek, Julius Lenz and John Sonheim. |
