Thursday, November 29, 2007 Drake, Bonniebelle “Bonnie” (28 July 1927 – 28 Nov. 2007) Bonniebelle 'Bonnie' Drake OWEN -- Bonniebelle "Bonnie" (Urban) Drake, 80, West Bend, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007, at the Cedar Lake Health and Rehabilitation Center under Hospice Care in West Bend. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2007, at the Maurina Funeral home Owen. Burial will be Riverside Cemetery, Withee. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Bonnie was born July 28, 1927, in the town of Green Grove, Clark County, to Herman and Lenore (Holverson) Awe. She married Albert Urban June 20, 1946, and he preceded her in death on July 28, 1968. She married George Drake on June 28, 1971, and he preceded her in death on May 5, 1996. She owned and operated Drake's Den (tavern) in Milwaukee for a number of years, then Grandma's Café in West Allis followed by The Big Gold House (a craft and resale shop) in Menomonee Falls. Bonnie is survived by her children, Gayla (Dennis) Scheerenberger, Davenport, Fla., Lynell (Fred) Voight, Mukwonago, and Jerry (Patty) Urban, Modesto, Calif.; one granddaughter; and a sister, Judy (Orlando) Ackerman, Owen. |
