Surnames: Whittemore, Daniels, Duncan The Loyal Tribune 29 August 1940 Daniels, Elsie E. (25 AUG 1940) Elsie E. Daniels, daughter of Mrs. A. J. Whittemore, Loyal, became the bride of Thomas W. Duncan, Fairchild, early Sunday morning, Mr. H. H. Wantland, Loyal’s blind Justice of the Peace, performing the ceremony. The bride’s gown was of light georgette. The wedding attendants for Mr. and Mrs. Duncan were Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Whittemore, daughter Pauline and son Gilbert. Mr. Whittemore is a brother of the bride. Dinner was served by Mrs. G. E. Whittemore for the wedding party. Monday evening Mr. and Mrs. Duncan were supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Deal, Neillsville. Mrs. Deal is a sister of Mrs. Duncan. Mr. and Mrs. Duncan expect to leave soon to make their home on a farm near Fairchild. Best wishes of the Tribune and Loyal friends go with them to their new home. |
