Surnames: Malberg, Anderson Source: THORP COURIER (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 08/01/1940 Malberg, Harriet (25 JUN 1940) (Star Observer, Hudson, Wis.) Announcement was made this week of the marriage of Miss Harriet Malberg, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Malberg of River Falls, and Mr. Lawrence Anderson of Hudson. Mr. Anderson is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar L. Anderson. The wedding took place at Northwood, Iowa on June 25, 1940. Rev. Wm. Tiede of the Zion Lutheran Church performed the ceremony. The couple were attended by the groom’s brother, Emil Anderson , and by Mrs. Emil Anderson of Hudson. The bride has been teaching at Thorp, (Clark Co.), Wis., where Mr. Anderson taught until taking over the Anderson grocery store here a year ago. Mr. Anderson was manual arts instructor and coach there and Mrs. Anderson ahs been teaching the first and second grades in the Thorp elementary school. Mrs. Anderson is a graduate of River Falls Teachers College and Mr. Anderson of the Oshkosh Teachers College. |
