Mrs. William Henkel left for Sheboygan Monday for a visit with her son.

Mrs. Alphonse Schmitt and baby boy returned from the Marshfield hospital.

Howard Hause underwent an operation at the Marshfield hospital Wednesday.

Mrs. Ed Zillmann spent last week Wednesday at Milan with her sister, Mrs. Charles Schmidt.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred J. Kobs have received word that their son, Gerald, has arrived in Belgium.

Ed Bentz left for Marshfield Sunday night where he is employed on the Soo Line bridge crew.

Mrs. John Pudlas of Forreston, Ill., spent a few days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Orth.

Dr. H. H. Christofferson of Colby and A. M. Erickson of Curtiss were in St. Paul last Thursday.

Lt. (j.g.) John K. Schemmer spent the week-end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Schemmer.

A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. George Kropelin at the Marshfield hospital, Friday, Feb. 23rd.

Miss Bernice Bruss of Marshfield visited at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Bruss last week Wednesday.

Donald Wiersig, attending school at Stevens Point, spent the week-end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Wiersig.

The Misses Viola Marsh and Mary Umhoefer, teaching at Wausau, spent the week-end at their respective homes in Colby.

Paul Sill spent several days in Milwaukee where he took examinations for the merchant marines but did not pass.

Lenhardt Wiersig, attending Navy school at Oberlein, Ohio, spent several days with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Wiersig.

Emery Orth, who has been serving with the U.S. Navy aboard ship, spent a few days with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Orth.
