Surnames: Krucker, Ferguson, Aderhold, Reyer, Schnelzer, Brill, Sommers, Marks, Giles, Schultz, Hoeft, Pappenfus Source: Colby Phonograph (Colby, Clark County, Wis.) 05/31/1945 Krucker, Mathilda (22 Dec. 1890 – 26 May 1945) Mrs. Lenard Krucker died at her home in the town of Hull Saturday, May 26th, 1945, at 5:00 A.M., complications of 18 months duration being the cause of her departure. Funeral services were held at the Lulloff Funeral Home, where the body had been lying in state, Tuesday, May 29, at 1:00 P.M., Rev. M. B. Ferguson, pastor of the Colby Methodist church, officiating, and internment was made in the Colby cemetery. Pall bearers were Henry Aderhold, Carl Reyer, Fred Schmelzer, John Brill, Theo. Brill and Carl Sommers. The deceased, whose maiden name was Mathilda Marks, was born in the town of Hull on December 22, 1890, thus reaching the age of 54 years, five months and four days. She was married to Lenard Krucker at Colby on June 21, 1911. Surviving are her husband, her mother, Mrs. Fred Marks, and three children – Earl R. Krucker of Chippewa Falls, Wis., Mrs. Claude Giles of Wausau and Mrs. Clarence Schultz of Colby. Also two sisters and two brothers – Mrs. George Pappenfus of Abbotsford, Ferdinand Marks of Chippewa Falls, Ed Marks of Milwaukee and Mrs. Gust Hoeft of Marshfield. There are six grand children. Out of town people here for the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Earl Krucker and Ferdinand Marks of Chippewa Falls and Mr. and Mrs. Claude Giles of Wausau and Mrs. Gust Hoeft of Marshfield. The deceased was a good Christian, a faithful wife and mother, always doing her duties to the best of her ability, and, being of a friendly disposition, will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
