In a wedding ceremony read July 14, at 4 p.m., in the chapel of the First Congregational Church at Battle Creek, Mich., Miss Rachel Annette Post, daughter of Mrs. Laura Post, and John Harold Post, Battle Creek, Mich., became the bride of Roman W. Peterson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Peterson, Curtiss. The Rev. O. E. Desmond officiated at the double-ring services read in the presence of 40 guests. The church was beautifully decorated with baskets of gladiolas, roses and ferns.

Miss Golden Parker was maid of honor. She was dressed in a powder blue frock styled with a sweetheart neckline, fitted bodice and full gathered skirt. She carried pink and white roses.

Orlyn E. Peterson of Chicago, a brother of the groom, assisted as best man. The ushers were Leonard and Buell Baker, cousins of the bride.

Mrs. Post, mother of the bride, attended her daughter’s wedding in a powder blue frock with white accessories. Her corsage was composed of pink roses. Mrs. Henry Peterson, the groom’s mother, wore an orchid frock with white accessories, and she too, wore a corsage of white roses.

Mr. and Mrs. Peterson left later on a honeymoon to northern Michigan, and are now at their home at 19 Eaton street, Battle Creek, Mich.
