O. Hoffmann in Zion Lutheran church in Colby, Wis., at 2:00 o’clock Saturday afternoon, October 12th, Miss Doris Elstrom, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Elstrom of Colby, became the bride of Dallas Seboe, son of Mr. and Mrs. Olaf Seboe of Horicon, Wisconsin. Miss Virginia Seboe and Miss Gene Seboe, sisters of the groom, were maid of honor and bridesmaid, and the groom was attended by Arland Elstrom, brother of the bride, as best man, and Glenn Schauss, Jeanette Sixel sang two songs, “Oh Promise Me,” and “The Lord’s Prayer” accompanied by Miss Rena Bauer. The bride was attired in a gown of brocaded velveray taffeta fashioned with a long fitted bodice, buttoned down the back with self trim buttons, long sleeves, a sweetheart neckline and a long train. Her fingertip veil fell from a beaded headpiece. The colonial bouquet she carried consisted of lilies, roses and chrysanthemums. The maid of honor wore a pink taffeta dress with matching net overskirt and net gloves. The bridesmaid’s dress was blue taffeta with a net overskirt and she also wore net gloves. Their colonial bouquets consisted of chysanthemums, carnations and ferns. Following the ceremony, a five o’clock dinner was served to about 60 guests in the church parlors, and, in the evening, a reception and “open house” for relatives and their friends were held at the home of the bride’s parents. Mr. and Mrs. Seboe left on a wedding trip to Northern Wisconsin and will be at home after November 1st at Horicon, Wis., where the groom will be employed. Out of town guests attending the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Olaf Seboe and daughters of Horicon, Wis., Mrs. Frank Brummond and the Misses Frieda, Crystal and Linda Brummond of Beaver Dam. Miss Donna May Drummond and Mrs. Carroll Brummond of Mayville, Wis., Howard Van De Vande of Waupun, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Olson, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Seboe and son, Donald, and Mr. and Mrs. Willard Frome and daughter, Kathleen, of Auburndale, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. Hilbert Seboe of Vesper, Miss Marie Hake of Milwaukee, Arland Elstrom of Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Elstrom of Loyal, Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Van Dreel and family, Miss Romano Johnson and Mr. Glenn Schauss of Abbotsford.
