Surnames: Erdman, Kowalk, Hoffmann Source: Colby Phonograph (Colby, Clark County, Wis.) 10/31/1946 Erdman, Lena (Marriage – Oct. 1946) Lena Erdman and Ernest Kowalk, both of Unity, were united in marriage in a quiet wedding ceremony read in the parsonage of Zion Lutheran church at Colby by Rev. O. Hoffmann. For her wedding, the bride wore a brown silk tailleur trimmed with gold sequins. Her corsage was an arrangement of yellow roses and white pompons. Mr. and Mrs. Mike Erdman of Wausau, brother and sister in law of the bride, attended the couple. Mrs. Edman wore a navy blue silk dress and had carnations pinned to her shoulder. Mr. and Mrs. Kowalk are now at home to friends on the groom’s farm in the town of Unity. Formerly, Mrs. Kowalk resided at Stettin.
