BioM: McCutcheon, Anna (Marriage - 1914)
Surnames: MCCUTCHEON MCEACHERN Source: THORP COURIER (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 12/31/1914 McCutcheon, Anna (Marriage - 30 DEC 1914) On Wednesday, Dec. 30, 1914, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. R. McCutcheon, occurred the marriage of their daughter, Anna, to Mr. William A. McEachern of Iron River, Mich. As the beautiful strains of the wedding march rendered by Miss Anna Remol, floated through the rooms and amidst flowers and tasty decorations, Rev. J. B. Bachman spoke the words which united the two hearts for the remainder of life's journey. The bride was attired in a beautiful white gown. The groom and groomsman, Mrs. Robert Lyons, wore the usual conventional black. Mrs. Susan Garrison, bridesmaid, looked most charming in a handsome yellow gown. Little Miss Edith Garrison, acting as flower girl, was attired in white. The bride is one of our (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) choicest young ladies. From a little girl she has grown up in our midst, honored by old and young alike. She has ever been a bright star in the home circle and now she has gone to reign as queen in her own home. The groom is a mining engineer at Iron River, and a stranger to us, but judging from what the bride is worthy of, he is a good and noble man. After the ceremony congratulations were freely bestowed. An elaborate lunch was served, after which the newlyweds departed for Chicago and other points, on the noon train going east. They will reside at Iron River. The present received were numerous and handsome, as well as valuable.
