Surnames: SCHMIDT OBERLE Source: THORP COURIER (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 11/13/1919 Oberle, Mathilda (Marriage - 11 NOV 1919) The marriage of Miss Mathilda Oberle and Mr. Fred J. Schmidt took place at St. Bernard's Church in this village (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) on Tuesday morning, Nov. 11, 1919, father John Neises performing the ceremony. Miss Oberle is numbered among the most popular girls of the town of Worden and is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Oberle of that town. Mr. Schmidt is from Sheboygan and has been employed here for some years at the Hansen & Zaborowski garage. He is a sturdy young man, and respected by all his acquaintances. A reception was given at the home of the bride's parents, which was very largely attended by relatives and friends of the bride and groom, who will reside in this village in the future.
