Obit: Phillips, Anna (1869 - 1900)
Surnames: PHILLIPS NESS Source: THORP COURIER (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 02/01/1900 Phillips, Anna (9 SEP 1869 - 28 JAN 1900) Mrs. E. A. Phillips, who has been very ill for the past two weeks, died at her home at the Forest Queen House in this village (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) on Sunday evening Jan. 28, 1900, of endocarditis, an infection of the heart. Her maiden name was Anna Ness, and she was born at Bergen, Norway on Sept. 9, 1869, and came to this village with her husband in June last. Her remains were accompanied by her bereaved husband to Franklin, Minn., on Monday, for interment, Rev. H. E. Hoare conducting a short funeral service at the home previous to taking the remains to the train.
