The Bredemeyers came to Colby immediately after their marriage and operated a general store, the present A. F. Zillmer Co. store.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Anna Thompson of Menasha. Two children died in infancy. Also surviving are two grandsons, a nephew, Henry Lemmin, who made his home with her, and two nieces, Mrs. Fred Wolk of Colby and Mrs. Alvin Schmidt of the town of Hull.

The deceased was a good Christian, a faithful member of the Women’s Guild of her church, and, being of a cheerful disposition, was well-liked by all who knew her. Many will miss her pleasant smile and greeting.
