Kramer, Loren (24 May 1947 - 4 Jan. 2008)

Loren Kramer, 60, Neillsville, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2008, at his residence in the town of Seif, rural Neillsville.

Funeral services were held Jan. 8 at Curtiss Alliance Church, Curtiss, with Pastor Carl Swarr presiding and burial was in the Pine Hill Cemetery in Curtiss.

Pallbearers were George Berger, Randall Hummel, Benjamin and Brian Leiby, Laverne Swarr and David German.

Loren was born May 24, 1947, to Floyd and Mildred (Kehler) Kramer at Schuylkill Haven, PA. He married the former Ruth Ann Leiby on July 25, 1970, in Pine Grove, PA.

He raised poultry in Pine Grove before moving to the Town of Mayville in 1973, where he farmed and worked part time for Holtz Feed Store for 20 years, then moving to the Town of Sief where he continued to farm.

Loren enjoyed hunting, reading and making maple syrup. He attended the Vesper Chapel.

Survivors include his wife Ruth Ann Kramer, Neillsville; son Scott (Rebecca) Kramer, Neillsville; his parents, Floyd and Mildred Kramer, Schuylkill Haven, PA; two sisters, Sandra (Randall) Hummel, Stevens, PA, and Carol Hull, Pottsville, PA; and a brother, Dennis (Diana) Kramer, Schuylkill Haven, PA.

Loren was preceded in death by one sister, Darlene Sattizahn.
