Rannow, Lenona (Marriage – 3 Apr. 1948)

Miss Lenona Rannow, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Rannow of Colby, and Clifford L. Rosinski, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Rosinski of Milwaukee, exchanged marriage vows at a double-ring ceremony at the Sherman Park Lutheran church in Milwaukee Saturday, April 3, Rev. G. A. Mauerer reading the marriage ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Smith of Milwaukee attended the couple.

The bride wore a white gabardine suit and black accessories accented with a white orchid corsage. A purple orchid was pinned to the shoulder of Mrs. Smith’s gold gabardine suit which she wore with brown accessories.

Following the wedding, a reception was held at the home of the bridegroom’s parents. On Sunday, the wedding party and guests were entertained at a dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Stutzman.

Following a two week’s wedding trip through Southern Wisconsin, the young couple will arrive in Colby at the home of the bride’s parents. A wedding dance will be held on April 16th at Walter’s pavilion.

After April 19th, they will make their home in Milwaukee, where the groom is employed as a tool designer and the bride as a cosmetician in a beauty parlor. They will be at home to friends at 770 N. Marshall street, Milwaukee.

Those present at the wedding and reception included Mrs. Otto Rannow, of Colby; Miss Hazel Baumgarten of Highland Park, Ill.; and the following Milwaukee people: Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Rosinski, Miss Rose Marie Rosinski, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wefrawski, Jerome Wefrawski, Mr. and Mrs. John Czerwinski, Mr. and Mrs. Tony Kaczmarek, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Kaiser, Mr. and Mrs. Casmir Zinny, Miss Geraldine Zinny, Michael Vortanian, Andrew Haroian, Jack Schlasser, and Bernard Bishop.
