Dahlke, Elizabeth (26 August 1907 – 31 July 1948)

Mrs. Bernard Dahlke, of the town of Wien and a native of Colby, died suddenly at her home Saturday night at 11:15 o’clock. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning in St. John’s Catholic church in Edgar, Rev. Oscar Cramer officiating. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.

Elizabeth Sterzinger was born in the town of Colby on August 26, 1907, and was married to Bernard Dahlke on September 1, 1931, in Colby.

She was a member of the Women’s Catholic Order of Foresters and the Christian Mother’s Society of St. John’s Catholic church.

Surviving are her husband; one son, Bernard, Jr., five daughters, Dorothy, Verjean, Mary, Barbara and Jeanette; one brother, Rudolph Sterzinger of Colby; one sister, Mrs. Elmer Geaser of Milwaukee; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Sterzinger of the town of Colby. One child preceded her in death.
