Miss Ruth Milbrath, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Milbrath of River Falls, and Donald Moore, son of Fred Moore of Los Angeles, Calif., were married at 8:30 o’clock Sunday morning, July 13, at the Episcopal church in River Falls. Rev. Skerry Olson of Hudson performed the ceremony.

The bride wore an ivory wool challis gown embroidered in gold made princess style, a corsage of gardenias, and a lace picture hat. She was attended by her sister, Patricia, who wore a rose challis dress and a picture hat. Her corsage was also of gardenias.

The bridegroom was attended by a close friend, Earl Mohland, of Mondovi.

For traveling the bride wore a blue suit with blue accessories.

After the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride’s parents.

The couple left then on a trip to St. Francis, Canada, which is the birthplace of the groom.

The bride is a graduate of the River Falls teachers college and taught school at Gilman for several years and the last semester of the past school year taught in the Owen school system.

The bridegroom who made his home with an aunt and uncle at Durand, attended the Eau Claire Teachers college. For two years he taught school and coached athletics at Gilman and the past year has been serving in the same capacity at Greenwood. He will return to Greenwood again this fall, where the young couple will make their home.
