Surnames: Pietras, Suda Source: Colby Phonograph (Colby, Clark County, Wis.) 11/26/1953 Pietras, Frank Mrs. (1891? – 22 Nov. 1953) Thorp – A 62-year-old Thorp farm woman was struck and killed by an automobile on Highway 29, one and one-half miles east of here, about 11:30 o’clock Sunday night. The victim, Mrs. Frank Pietras, met death only a short time after escaping from another traffic mishap when a pickup truck in which she and her husband were returning to their home ran off the road into a ditch and struck a large stone.
