Thursday, 09/16/1954 Michlig, Lorraine (Marriage – 4 Sept. 1954) Miss Lorraine Michlig, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Michlig of Curtiss, and Myron Ewert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Ewert, exchanged marriage vows in St. Bernard’s Catholic church in Abbotsford Saturday, Sept. 4. The couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Donald Frane of Colby. The bride was attired in an aqua street-length dress with white accessories. A corsage of yellow roses and white mums was pinned to the shoulder line. Mrs. Frane wore a black and red dress with black accessories and her corsage consisted of yellow roses and carnations. Following the nuptial rites, a reception and supper were held at the home of the bride’s parents. The couple made a wedding trip to Northern Wisconsin and are now at home at Curtiss. The bride, who attended Abbotsford High School, is a beauty shop operator in Owen. The groom, a graduate of Colby High School, is engaged in farming.
