Mrs. Sara Jacobson of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), announces the marriage of her daughter, Iris Ellen, to Dr. Lester Gallett, originally of Gilman, Wis. The nuptial vows were taken at St. Patrick’s Church at Eau Claire, Wis., at ten o’clock Saturday morning, July 19, 1941, Monsignor Dowd performing the ceremony.

The bride was beautifully attired in a blue linen street length dress, with large white straw hat and white accessories. Her corsage was of pink tea roses and white carnations. She was attended by her sister, Toddy Jacobson, who wore a pink linen street length dress with large white hat and white accessories.

The bride graduated from Thorp High School and also completed a course in nursing. Her many friends in this community join in extending congratulations.

Mr. and Mrs. Gallett will reside at LaCrosse, Wis., where the groom has the position of resident doctor at the Luther Hospital.
