Miss Lucille Melin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Melin of Atwater, Minn., and Edward Barski, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Barski of Thorp, Clark Co., Wis., were united in marriage at the bride’s home on Saturday, Dec. 27, 1941, at 7:30 o’clock in the evening. The Rev. N.C. Edwall of the Lake Elizabeth Baptist Church reading the service before an improvised chancel of palms and candelabra.
The bride was attired in a gown of pale blue brocaded taffeta with matching blue fingertip veil. Her bridal bouquet was of tea roses, narcissus and snapdragons.
Miss Ruth Melin was her sister’s attendant and styled identically to that of the bride’s. She carried a colonial nosegay of snapdragons and sweet peas, surrounding a large center rose. Little Sally Winner, niece of the bride, acted as flower girl.
Merv Wolveston of Redwood Falls, Minn., attended the groom as best man.
The bride and groom will make their home at St. Paul, Minn., where Mr. Barski is instructor and athletic coach in the public schools.
