Bagnowski, Margaret (3 OCT 1942)

At a 10 o’clock service in St. Francis Catholic Church at Necedah, on Saturday morning, Oct. 3rd, 1942, Margaret Bagnowski, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Bagnowski of Necedah, became the bride of John Damski, son of Mr. Stanley Damski of Lublin, Wis. The Rev. Father Przostowicz read the ceremony and the church choir sang.

Of white slipper satin and lace, the bride’s princess style gown was designed with sweetheart neckline designed with sweetheart neckline and long sleeves. Her trailing veil bordered in lace, was caught to a princess headdress with seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of white roses.

Miss Clara Novotny of Necedah was bridesmaid, in gown of red and white silk taffeta. She wore a matching floral headdress and carried a bouquet of red roses. Miss Arlene Kozlowski of Chicago, carried the wedding rings on a white satin pillow. She wore a floor length dress of white tulle and matching headdress.

Louis Bagnowski, brother of the bride, was best man.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the bride’s home, where the wedding dinner and supper was served to relatives and friends. Later in the evening the wedding dance was held at New Miner Pavilion.

The guests were, Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Husil and family, Louis Bagnowski, Mr. and Mrs. Alex Kozlowski and family and Miss Mary Novtny, all of Chicago, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. F.H. Fliszak and Miss Feliszak of Blue Island, Ill.; Mr. Stanley Damski of Lublin, Wis.; Mr. and Mrs. Kosmer Cwiklinsi and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Zomblowski and family; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bagnewski and family, Mr. and Mrs. John Novotny and Rev. Father Brzostowicz, all of Necedah, and Mr. and Mrs. John Bagnowski and family of Nekoosa, Wis.

Mr. and Mrs. John Damski will reside on a farm near Lublin.
