The double ring ceremony was performed by Rev. Edward Sipple at an 8:00 o’clock nuptial high mass.

The bride was attired in a white slipper satin gown, train, with lace yoke and sleeves, trimmed in an appliqué of white beads. A band of fresh white flowers held her veil and she carried a bouquet of white gladioli with an orchid.

Miss Audrey Gries of Colby, cousin of the bride, acted as maid of honor. She wore a blue taffeta dress. Her head piece was made up of a band of fresh yellow flowers and held her veil and carried a bouquet of yellow gladioli.

Walter Schuh of Colby, cousin of the groom, was best man.

The bride’s mother wore a dress of pale blue lace cloth with navy blue accessories. The groom’s mother wore an aqua dress with brown accessories. Both mothers wore an orchid.

Following the ceremony, a wedding breakfast was served at the Carousel. A reception was held in the afternoon at the home of the bride’s parents where a buffet supper was served at 5:00 o’clock.

Guests from out of town included Mr. and Mrs. Louis Beyerl, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rasmussen, Miss Audrey Gries and Walter Schuh of Colby, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Remington of Marinette and Miss Mary Beyerl of Chicago.

The couple are spending their honeymoon at Devils Lake, Baraboo, Wis., where the bride’s parents have a cottage on the south shore. They will be at home to friends after June 26th at 1120 N. 21st St., Milwaukee.
