Wagner, Patricia Ann (Marriage – 27 Nov. 1949)

On Sunday afternoon, Nov. 27th, 1949, at two o’clock at the Christian church in Mt. Morris, Ill., Patricia Ann Wagner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wagner, was married to Eugene W. Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Johnson of Oregon, Ill., Rev. Willis Thomas of Leaf River reading the double ring ceremony. The couple was attended by the bride’s brother in law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Franklin. Beverly Wakner was flower girl.

A reception for a large number of guests was held at the Grange Hall immediately following the ceremony. The hall was attractively decorated with yellow and white streamers and wedding bells. A beautiful bridged four layer wedding cake was the bride’s table centerpiece.

The young couple spent several days in Milwaukee. The bride is a graduate of Mt. Morris High School. The groom is a graduate of the Colby High School. At present, he is the baker at his father’s bakery in Oregon.
