Peche, Bernadine (2 JUN 1942)
Miss Bernadine Peche of Little Black (Taylor Co., Wis.) and Sergeant Richard Williams, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Williams of the Town of Holway, were join in holy wedlock at a military wedding service read by rev. G.O. Krause in the Stetsonville Lutheran Church on Tuesday afternoon, June 2, 1942.
The bride was beautifully attired in a white satin gown with a train and a long trailing veil falling from a seed pearl crown. She carried a bouquet of roses and white carnations as did her bridesmaid, her sister, Geraldine Peche, who wore a gown of sheer peach.
The groom was dressed in his military uniform and was attended by his brother, Harold.
A reception was held at the bride’s home at two o’clock and at 4:30, a dinner was served to the immediate friends and relatives. The home was decorated with peach and white streamers with the center of the table being adorned with a beautiful wedding cake.
The couple will make their home at Stockton, Calif., where the groom is stationed.
