Peterson, Irene (Marriage - 30 AUG 1941)
Miss Irene Peterson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christian Peterson, 3900 40th avenue south, Minneapolis, was married to Albert W. Fosnow, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Fosnow of Withee at eight o’clock Saturday evening, Aug. 30, at the Minneapolis Christian and Missionary Alliance church, the Rev. J. A. Peterson of St. Paul officiated.
A white satin and lace gown with long sleeves and a long train was worn by the bride. Her finger-tip veil was held by a crown of seed pearls. She carried Johanna Hill roses and gardenias.
Miss Elsie Peterson, matron of honor, wore pink brocaded satin and a veil of pink net held in place by a head cluster. She carried pink roses, delphinians and sweet peas.
The groom was attended by William Rose of St. Paul. Alvin Martin and James Franklin were ushers.
The church was beautifully decorated with palms and cut flowers. Following the ceremony a reception was held for relatives and friends at the home of the bride’s parents. Refreshments were served to over 70.
Mr. and Mrs. Fosnow will make their home in St. Paul and will continue another year at the St. Paul Bible Institute.
Mr. and Mrs. Peter Fosnow of Withee were present at the wedding.
