At 8:30 Saturday morning, August 23, Miss Mary Ann Elsinger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Elsinger exchanged marriage vows with Paul Reuter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Reuter of Pilot Grove, Mo., at a nuptial high mass read by Rev. Aloys Zinthefer at St. Anthony’s Church.

The bride wore a shell pink dressmaker suit with baby blue accessories and wore a ruprum lily corsage and carried a rosary.

Miss Sylvia Elsinger of Chicago, sister of the bride was maid of honor and wore yellow coat style dress with white accessories, and Miss Jean Krueger, a close friend of the bride wore a baby blue dress with white accessories and both wore a corsage of pink roses.

Richard Reuter attended his brother as best man and Francis Elsinger as groom’s man. Both wore dark suits and white roses.

Mrs. John Elsinger, mother of the bride wore a navy blue georgette dress and the groom’s mother wore a dress of figured purple crepe.

The music was rendered by Pricilla Haas and high mass sung by the parish choir.

At the offertory the Ave Maria was sung by Sisters M. Florentine and M. Madonna, the former sister of the bride.

After the ceremony a reception was held for immediate relatives and friends at the bride’s home. The dining room was decorated in pink, yellow and blue streamers, and a large bell of the same colors. A three tiered wedding cake, baked by the bride’s mother formed the center piece.

Dinner and supper was served to 30 guests and prepared by Mrs. Oscar Bauer, Mrs. Gilbert Krueger, and Mrs. Rollie Bauer. Table waitresses dressed in white were Miss Coletta Weyer, and Mrs. Herb Voss.

The groom is employed by the Humphrey’s Tree Experts Co. of Madison, Wis. The bride spent most of her life at home. The couple will live in a trailer and will go to house keeping at once to Barron, Wis., where the groom is now employed.

The following were present at the wedding: Mr. and Mrs. Frank Reuter, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Reuter, Pilot Grove, Mo., Mr. and Mrs. Anton School of Kaukauna, Sisters M. Florentine and M. Madonna of Skokie, Ill., Mrs. Thomas Goode and Miss Sylvia Elsinger of Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Elsinger and Mr. and Mrs. John Elsinger and daughter Carol Ann of Guttenberg, Iowa, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Humphrey of Madison, Mr. Richard Reuter and Bud Bauer of Barron, Mr. and Mrs. John Weyer, Rev. Aloys Zinthefer, and Miss Ada Schaffer.
