Wilbur M. Kehrberg

LOYAL -- Wilbur M. Kehrberg, 87, Appleton, formerly of Loyal, died Thursday, Feb. 21, 2008, in Appleton.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal. Burial will follow in the Greenwood City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the church.

Cuddie Funeral Home of Loyal is assisting the family with arrangements.

Wilbur M. Kehrberg

Wilbur M. Kehrberg, 87, of Appleton, formerly of Loyal, died Thursday, Feb. 21, 2008, at Brewster Village in Appleton.

Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 26, 2008, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal. Visitation is at 10 a.m. until the time of the service, Tuesday at the church.

Kehrberg was born April 4, 1920, in Loyal to Gerhardt and Cornelia (Pitz) Kehrberg. He was raised in Loyal and attended the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse for one year.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in Europe.

After discharge from the Army he worked with his father. He married Audrey Haeuser on June 14, 1947. He worked at and ran Kehrberg's Variety Store in Loyal from 1949 to 1991.

He is survived by his children, Mark (Dee) Kehrberg of Oshkosh, Randy (Deborah) Kehrberg of Woodside, Calif., Susan (Ward) Patton of Appleton, Beth Ann (Scott) Schmelzel of Belleville, Ill., and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Audrey, two brothers and a sister.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks you support Alzheimer's care in your area or at Brewster Village in Appleton.
