Rilling, Dorothea (Marriage – 21 Oct. 1950)
Miss Winifred Dorothea Rilling of Wausau, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. J. A. Rilling of Abbotsford, exchanged marriage vows with Joseph George Ourada of Wausau, son of Mrs. Mary Ourada of Antigo, during a ceremony performed at the home of the bride at Wausau at 7:00 P.M. Saturday, Rev. Ray H. Kieby, pastor of the First Presbyterian church of Wausau, reading the marriage ceremony.
The bride was attired in a gray wool dressmaker suit with navy blue accessories and a corsage of white orchids pinned at her shoulder. The couple’s only attendants were her sister, Miss Althea Rilling, and the groom’s brother, George Ourada of Antigo. The maid of honor wore an oxford gray dressmaker suit and a flamingo hat. Her corsage consisted of Talisman roses.
From 7:30 P.M. to 9:30 P.M., the couple greeted friends and relatives at a reception at the home of the bride. A dance at Marathon Fish and Game Club followed the reception.
The bride and groom are both employed at Wausau, the former by the Pied Piper Shoe Co. and the groom by the Underwood Veneer Co.
When the newlyweds return from a honeymoon trip to Michigan and Ontario, Canada, they will reside at Wausau.
