Rahn, Theresa (Marriage – 2 June 1951)

Theresa Rahn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Fritsch of Dorchester, and Robert Scidmore, son of Mr. and Mrs. Abner Scidmore of Colby, were married at St. Louis church in Dorchester Saturday, June 2nd, at 9:00 o’clock, Rev. M. J. Kelnofher reading the marriage ceremony. The couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Leo Luczak of Fond du Lac, brother in law and sister of the bride.

The bride was attired in a gray suit with orchid accessories and her corsage consisted of pink and white carnations. Mrs. Luczak wore a pink suit with beige accessories and her corsage also consisted of pink and white carnations.

A reception was held at the home of the bride which was decorated with pink, white and orchid streamers.

After a wedding trip to Northern Wisconsin and Michigan, the couple will be at home in Milwaukee after June 18th.

Attending the wedding from Colby were Mr. and Mrs. Abner Scidmore, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Scidmore and family, Mr. and Mrs. Don Schreiber and family, Mr. and Mrs. John Hoffman and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Boxrucker. Other guests were from Chicago, Ill., Milwaukee, Phillips, Fond du Lac, Cadott, Owen, Curtiss and Minnesota.
