(5 JUN 1943) Saturday morning, June 5th, 1943, at 9:30 o’clock at the altar of St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church in Thorp, Clark Co., Wis., Miss Frances T. Neiman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Neiman of Thorp, became the bride of S/Sgt. Leon M. Moczarny, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Moczarny of Thorp. Rev. Francis Przybylski of Independence, schoolmate of both bride and groom, read the solemn service. The bride wore a white net formal with a lace coat-train, sweetheart neckline, with three-quarter length sleeves. Her fingertip veil flowed from a tiara crown of pearls with a Juliet cap, made of the same lace as the coat-train. She carried a colonial bouquet of gardenias, white roses, swansonias, lilies of the valley, and baby breath. The groom was attired in uniform. Margaret Neiman, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid and Chester Moczarny, best man. Margaret wore a blue net full skirted gown. Chester M. was attired in a tuxedo. Miss Agnes Neiman, maid of honor, wore a pink gown. The bridesmaids wore gowns of blue net and each carried a colonial bouquet of briar cliff roses, delphiniums, carnations, and baby breath. The attending couples were Leon Neiman and Saberia Rokicinski, Joe Jedryhowski, and Dorothy Przybylski, Al Gralewski and Josephine Lesniewski, Kathleen Neiman and Leon Papierniak, and Louis Smigaj and Jean Sniegowski. The ushers wore tuxedos. A reception was held at the P.N.A. Hall in Thorp. The just-weds will make their home in West Palm Beach, Florida, where the groom is Maintenance at Morrison Field. Out of town guests attending were: Mr. and Mrs. Alex Neiman and Mr. and Mrs. Leander Fohl of Wausau, Wis.; Mr. and Mrs. Pete Grabowski of St. Paul, Chester Moczarny of Collegeville, Minn., Leon Neiman, Miss Rokicinski, Josephine and Leona Lesniewski, Al Gralewski, Dorothy Przybylski, Joe Jedryhowski, Louis Smigaj, Mrs. Chester Lesiecki, Lucille Wojtkiewicz and Frances Staron, all of Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Johnson of Eau Claire, and Margaret Przybylski of St. Joseph’s, Minn. |
