Obit: Leach, John T. #2 (1921 – 1943)
Surnames: Leach Source: Clark County Press (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) Thursday, 13 Jan. 1944 Leach, John T. (23 June 1921 – 4 Dec. 1943) Private John T. Leach, 22, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ira Leach, was killed in action in Italy December 4. He was born in Greenwood June 23, 1921, and received his education there. He was employed by the J. C. Penney Co. prior to his entry into the armed services. The last letter received by his parents was dated November 29. He was in the heavy artillery. He is survived by his parents, who reside northwest of Greenwood; by a brother and four sisters; by the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Leach of Greenwood; an uncle, Ervin Leach of Greenwood and an aunt. |
