Surnames: Rienike, Burrington, Shoemaker, Kuehl, Lewalien, Morgan, Mason, Langer Source: Clark County Press (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) Thursday, 27 Jan. 1944 Butler – Mrs. Fred Morgan The Emil Reinike family visited relatives at Eagleton Sunday. Forrest Burrington, who has been in an army training camp in Alaska for the past year, visited friends and relatives on a 15 day furlough. His brothers from Grand Forks, Minn., Rockford, Ill, and Richland Center, Wis., came home to visit him while he was here. He visited friends in Butler Friday evening. The Ladies’ Aid supper was well attended and enough money was raised to buy another bond. Billy Shoemaker, who has been in Alaska for some time, is visiting relatives here. He is a first class pharmacist in the navy. Victor Kuehl was in Neillsville Monday on business. Mr. and Mrs. D. Lewalien visited at Henry Mason’s home on Sunday. Mrs. Fred Morgan and Marjory visited the former’s sister in Albertville Saturday. Eddie Langer was a business caller in Butler Friday. |
