(24 Apr. 1879 – 8 Nov. 1956) Funeral services were held at 2 P.M. Sunday for Adelbert G. Hubbard, 77, who passed away last Thursday night at his home in the Town of Unity of old age complications. The body reposed at the Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby. Mr. Hubbard was born in the Town of Unity April 24, 1879, and spent all of his lifetime there with the exception of four years in North Dakota, where he married Mrs. Nellie Anderson, October 15, 191? at Mott. He had been living on his present farm west of Unity the past 39 years and was a member of the Unity Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, 2 stepchildren, Mrs. George (Vera) Rueden, Dorchester; and Charles Anderson, Willard; two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Gilbert, Walla Walla, Washington, and Mrs. Maude Upson, Phillips; one brother, Samuel Hubbard, Greenleaf, Kansas; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
