(12 Dec. 1944 – 31 Mar. 2008) Kathy J. Podratz UNITY -- Kathy J. Podratz, 63, of Unity, died March 31, 2008, at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Faith Fellowship Church in Marshfield. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Marshfield. Visitation will be after 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church. Buchanan Funeral Home of Pittsville is assisting the family with the arrangements. She was born Dec. 12, 1944. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant at Aurora Assisted Living in Abbotsford. Surviving are her sons, Randle Ray, Fort Atkinson, Timothy (Becky Walz) Marshfield, Thomas James and Jonathan Paul, both of Unity and Jerek Kollmansberger, Green Bay; daughters, Karla Jo (Michael) and Daniela Kollmansberger, Green Bay, Tina Louise Podratz, Unity, and Jaynie Lynn Podratz, Marshfield; and three sisters, Jan Mertens, Mosinee, Sherry (Jerry) Zepplin, Rockford, Ill., and Lori (Pat) Schmidt, Waupaca. * * * Source: Marshfield News Herald (Marshfield, Wood Co., Wis.) She was born Dec. 12, 1944, in Wood County to Elmer and Bernice (Minor) Guenther. She married Raymond E. Podratz on Nov. 16, 1964. He preceded her in death Feb. 27, 1997. Kathy was employed as a licensed certified nursing assistant at Aurora Assisted Living in Abbotsford. She is survived by her sons, Randal Ray Podratz, Fort Atkinson, Timothy (Becky Walz) Podratz, Marshfield, Thomas James and Jonathan Paul, both of Unity; three daughters, Karla Jo (Michael) Kollmansberger, Green Bay, Tina Louise Podratz, Unity, and Jayme Lynn Podratz, Marshfield; two grandchildren; and three sisters, Jan Mertens, Mosinee, Sherry (Jerry) Zepplin, Rockford, Ill., and Lori (Pat) Schmidt, Waupaca. |
