City Treasurer Frank Firnstahl started this morning on his annual visit to Neillsville and Wausau.

Mrs. H. H. Christofferson went to Loyal, Tuesday, to spend a week with her former neighbors and friends.

Diedrich Nagel, who has been working for the Soo at Abbotsford, moved his family back to Colby, Tuesday.

Will Roth this week traded his pony team to Albert Weidemann of Abbotsford, for a single driver and a money consideration.

G. F. Etscheid, the Dorchester Veterinary Surgeon, and a young man named Mitchell, were in Colby a few hours Monday evening.

Yesterday F. M. Tuttle received two full-blood Brown Leghorn Roosters from his brother Sheldon Tuttle of Campbellsport.

Miss Grace Adams, who is attending the Stevens Point Business College, spent a few days here with her relatives, Mr. and Mrs. N. J. White.

Frank Wicker came down from Medford, Tuesday, and purchased Tom Selves’ big black stallion, “Colonel.” He will take him to Medford, Friday.

Dr. A. W. Ziegler, dentist, will be in Colby the first six days and the 11, 12, 13, 14th of each month. Dr. E. V. Kautsky’s office. Make appointments early.

Mrs. Wm. Allmann and child of Medford, who have been visiting Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Allmann in this city, the past week, returned to their home, Monday afternoon.

Chas. A. Fessler, father of George Fessler, and several others from Dorchester, drove through the city, Tuesday, en route for Unity to attend the funeral of Mrs. George Fessler.

Matt Kesler went to Gordon, Wednesday, to try and sell his farm near that place. Louis Becherer went with him to look over the country. They will return Saturday.

Mrs. Geo. M. Eder of Fond du Lac, Miss Delia Lindner of Oshkosh, and August Lindner and Henry Feind of Tomahawk were here to attend the funeral of their grandfather, Carl Lindner.

Mr. and Mrs. Geo. N. Quackenboss, old Colby residents, moved with their household goods to Clinton, Iowa, last week, which place will be their home hereafter. Their friends regret their departure.

Mrs. Chas. Frome went to Oshkosh, Monday morning, to receive treatment from Dr. Oviatt. She may have to have an operation performed. Charlie went down Tuesday to be with her a few days.

Albert Wiedenhoeft will sell some live stock, machinery and other personal property, at public auction, on his place in the town of Colby, on Thursday afternoon, March 30th. Phil Henkel, auctioneer.

Mr. and Mrs. Larry Haslett of Loyal village, and Mr. and Mrs. Felix Neihoff of Loyal town, were over Sunday guests of Dr. and Mrs. H. H. Christofferson. Mr. Haslett is the cashier of the Citizens State Bank of Loyal.

Wm. Zassenhaus, a member of the Jury Commission, went to Neillsville, Monday, to assist, in the drawing of jurors, for the April term of the circuit court, and transact other business. He returned home Tuesday evening.
