Mae Coey was a business visitor at Marshfield Monday. Judge Salter of Colby transacted business here Friday. Mrs. Dan Jones did shopping at Marshfield Thursday. Peter Fritz was a business visitor at Marshfield Monday. Miss Marth Powers was a Colby caller Monday forenoon. Mr. and Mrs. Joel Shafer of Colby were seen on our streets Monday. Misses Ruby Haman and Lena Domer spent Saturday at Marshfield. Andrew Nelson spent a few days with his friends at Park Falls this week. F. Cook and brother-in-law Ed. Blood took in the sights at Marshfield Saturday. Mrs. Geo. Moulton of Grand Rapids spent a few days here the guest of relatives and friends. Mrs. J. W. Salter and daughter Elizabeth were Marshfield visitors last Thursday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Matt Orth and children of Colby spent Monday afternoon with relatives in our city. Mrs. Chas. Smith of Grand Rapids came Thursday evening to see after her property in our village. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Fessler of Abbotsford were the guests of Mrs. Sam Shafer Sunday between trains. Miss Esther Johnson, who has been confined at St. Joseph’s Hospital at Marshfield, returned home Saturday. Mrs. I. Drake and Mrs. Gus Anderson of Edsvold came Friday to visit a few days with relatives in our village. Mrs. Frank Yates and sister Miss Helen Adams and Miss Myrtle Klein did shopping at the “Hub City” Saturday. E. W. Chafin, former candidate for president on the Prohibition ticket, lectured at the Decipe church last Sunday morning. Mr. and Mrs. C. O.
