Mr. and Mrs. Fred Pudles were at Owen, Friday.

Miss Nora Wachsmuth was at Withee, Tuesday.

John and Emil Trester were Owen callers, Friday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Nels Johnson were Marshfield visitors Thursday.

Misses Emma and Hattie Miller visited relatives in Owen, Sunday.

Otto Janke Jr. left for a visit with relatives at Jump River, Saturday.

Ferdinand Laabs and John Richter were Abbotsford visitors, Saturday.

A dance was given at the home of August Trester, Saturday evening.

Misses Thea Thompson and Lucy Green visited at Abbotsford, Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Louis Shorer of Colby visited at the home of Mrs. Strade Sunday.

Albert Laabs is having a barber shop constructed on the south side of his saloon.

Miss Minnie Torrison arrived here from McAllister, Saturday, for an extended visit with friends.

Miss Alice Fischer came home from Oshkosh, where she has been attending summer school, Saturday.

The Young People’s Society of the German Reformed church met at the home of Mrs. Strade, Sunday evening.

The Curtiss team played ball at Thorp, Sunday. The game resulted in a score of 3 to 1, favoring Curtiss, of course.

Miss Anna Virch, who is employed in the Donaldson Department store at Minneapolis arrived home, Sunday, for a couple weeks vacation.

Mrs. O. Cox of Sheldon arrived Wednesday evening for a visit at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Machlett. She returned home Saturday.

Miss Clara Torrison visited her brother, Alfred at Chippewa Falls.
