Eggelbrecht (Family Reunion – 12 Feb. 1912)

There was a family reunion at the Editorial mansion, Monday, Mrs. Shafer’s two brothers and four sisters were with her and they had a most pleasant time. One pleasant feature of their meeting was a visit to Lukowicz Photo Parlors where they had a group picture taken of all the surviving members of their family. They are: Mrs. Joel J. Shafer, Colby; John and Henry Eggelbrecht, Mrs. Fred Reeg, Mrs. Will Petri, town of Frankfort; Mrs. Henry Marquardt and Mrs. Wm. Marquardt, Wausau. The town of Frankfort brothers and sisters drove home the same night, but the Wausau sisters remained with us until Tuesday noon when they departed homeward by train. They are planning for another meeting out in the country, sometime this summer, when they will tie themselves loose, run barefooted and act like they used to in their childhood days.
