LaVerne Rose of Squadron M were married at the base chapel at George Field, Illinois on June 2nd, 1945. Both bride and the groom are natives of Stanley, Wis.. Chaplain John W. Stafford performed the ritual and Cpl. Warren McGaughey sang and played. Witnesses were the bride’s sister, Miss Sophie Mikolaicik, and F. Sgt. Edward Devine of Squadron M. The bride mother as well as other immediate relatives attended. |
