Noble, Helen Pauline (Marriage – 5 April 1944)

Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Albright have received announcement of the marriage of their grandson, Lt. Karl M. Schenk, son of Mr. and Mrs. Karl M. Schenk, of Stevens Point, to Pharmacist Mate 3/c Helen Pauline Noble, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Noble, also of Stevens Point, in a military ceremony which took place April 5, at Rapid City, S. D, where Lt. Schenk was stationed. The bride is stationed at Quincy hospital, Quincy, Mass.

Mrs. Schenk attended Central State Teacher’s college one year and was student nurse at the Methodist Hospital in Madison for two years before enlisting in the WAVES last fall. Lt. Schenk, who attended Central State College for two years, is now a bomber navigator.

Mrs. Schenk was returned to her duties at Quincy Hospital. Lt. Schenk was to have left Rapid City immediately, but was taken ill and was ordered to the hospital.
