J. W. Salter spent Friday at the Hub City.

Julius Koch was a business visitor at Colby, Monday.

Ed Creed and son Wm. were Marshfield visitors, Monday.

Miss Ella Charlton visited relatives at Colby, one day last week.

Art Salter and Alvin Evenson were Marshfield visitors, Saturday.

A. Cook transacted business at Fond du Lac, one day last week.

Miss Blanch Derby spent Tuesday and Wednesday, with friends at Colby.

Wm. McNeight killed a large wolf Monday, near his farm east of our village.

Mrs. Wells Harvey was the guest of relatives at Granton, the latter part of last week.

Ed Johnson spent a few days, last week, with his brother Charles at Stetsonville.

Raymond Cook and Ransom Brown were Marshfield visitors, Sunday between trains.

Miss Sue Henry of New Richmond, was a guest at Hotel Nelson, last week Thursday.

Mrs. F. Ewald of Loyal, visited at the home of Albert Weiland, the fore part of the week.

Mr. and Mrs. H. Sumner spent Thanksgiving with their daughter, Mrs. Geo. Roohr at Colby.

Ed Kenyon and family returned last week from their visit with relatives and friends at Sparta.

Quite a number from here attended the funeral of Chas. Holtzhausen at Colby, Wednesday afternoon.

The new school house in the Nickel district is now completed. They moved into the same Monday.

The dance given by the band boys, last week Wednesday, was very well attended. All report a fine time.

The Ladies’ Aid will hold a bazaar and sale at the I.O.O.F. hall, Saturday evening, Dec. 6th. Everybody turn out.

Claud Nelson came down from Iron Belt, Sunday morning on the limited and visited relatives until Sunday afternoon.

Miss Walby Johnson entertained a few of her friends at her home, last Friday evening. All spent a very pleasant evening.

Geo. S. Cook and daughter Fern went to Wausau, Tuesday noon, where George will attend the school board convention.

Word was received here this week, of the arrival of a son at the home of Rev. and Mrs. Geo. Austin of Muscoda, Wis., Nov. 23.

Mr. and Mrs. D. E. Sullivan of Colby spent Thanksgiving day with the latter’s brother, Chas. Lamont, and family in our city.

Miss Thelma Anderson returned to her home at Stevens Point, Sunday noon, after spending a few days in our village with relatives.

Mrs. Ed Anderson who has been confined at the St. Joseph’s hospital at Marshfield, the past three weeks, returned home Sunday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Weiland departed Tuesday, for Portland, Oregon, where they will spend a few weeks with their daughter, Mrs. Chas. Hopp.

County Clerk L. H. Cook departed for his home at Wausau, Monday night on the limited, after spending a week here hunting and visiting.

Mrs. Fred Straub who has been the guest of her daughter, Mrs. Herman Sommers, at Marshfield a few days returned home Tuesday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Harley Thayer and daughter went to Owen, Saturday evening, and visited the former’s brother Percy until Sunday afternoon.

Miss Lena Domer who teaches school at Mannville, spent the latter part of last week in our village, the guest of her friend, Miss Ruby Haman.
