Jake Roohr transacted business at Colby, Monday.

Emil Peters transacted business at Stevens Point Tuesday.

Geo. Burgess was a business visitor at Eau Claire, this week.

Miss Inga Nelson was a Hub City visitor, Saturday afternoon.

Ransom Brown came home Monday afternoon, from Knowlton.

Ben Matteson was a Marshfield visitor, Friday between trains.

Prof. Geo. Messer was the guest of friends at Sherry, Saturday.

Wm. Creed attended the U.C.T. Council at Marshfield, Saturday evening.

E. C. Vogt who has been at Madison the past month, returned home Friday.

Miss Gertrude Best was the guest of friends at Dorchester, Saturday and Sunday.

Claud Nelson of Iron Belt, visited in our village over Sunday with his mother and sisters.

Dr. J. H. Clark and A. Cook transacted business at the Hub City, Wednesday forenoon.

Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Salter and daughter Miss Belle were Marshfield visitors, Friday afternoon.

Word was received here last week of the death of Jos. Rensimer at the Soldier Home at Waupaca.

Geo. Roohr and Fred Kleese of Colby transacted business in our village the fore part of the week.

Miss Sue Henry who is teaching at Black River Falls, was the guest at the Nelson hotel over Sunday.

O. C. Haman departed Tuesday morning on No. 6, for Davenport, Fla., where he will spend a few weeks.

Peter Heintz who was reported on the sick list last week, is slowly on the gain at this writing.

Date Clark who has been employed at Stratford the past winter, returned home Tuesday afternoon.
