H. Brown is home this week from Wausau. Mrs. J. H. Clark was a Spencer visitor Wednesday. Chas. Creed transacted business at the Hub City, Monday. Joe Greenwood transacted business at Marshfield, Wednesday. Dr. Crane of Dorchester was in our city a few hours, Monday. Miss Mabel Cook spent a few days this week, with friends at Oakfield. Mrs. Chas. Wilke did shopping in the Hub City, last Friday afternoon. Mrs. C. H. Burgess fell Tuesday evening, hurting herself quite badly. Quite a number from Colby were seen on the streets Tuesday, Market Day. Miss Flora Clark was a Spencer and Marshfield visitor, last week Thursday. Date Clark left Friday noon for the town of Wein, where he will be employed. Herman and John Vanderhey of Loyal, were in our village a few hours Friday. The dance given by the band last Tuesday evening was very well attended. Miss Jones of Colby, was the guest of relatives in our village a few days last week. Jas. Allan of Vienna, Va., was in our city Tuesday, shaking hands with old friends. Geo. Burgess sold out his share of the pool and billiard rooms to V. R. Misener, this week. Quite a number of the young folks from here attended the dance at Osborn, Sunday evening. Neal and Russel Cook who spent a few weeks here, left Sunday for their home at Wausau. H. Vanderhey of Kaukauna is the guest of his daughter, Mrs. J. Powers, in our village this week. Mrs. Dan Abbot and children and Mrs. Orton of La Crosse are guests of relatives here, this week. Ed. McVean and family of Spencer, spent Saturday in our village as the guests of Mrs. Sam Hause. Mrs. Chas. Anderson and daughter, Mrs. Gus Dahlman, were Colby visitors, Wednesday forenoon. Mrs. L. A. Wright of Marshfield was the guest of Aunt ? in our city, Tuesday afternoon. Theodore Allain of Chippewa Falls was the guest of relatives and friends here a few days the past week. Mrs. Erickson and daughter of Chicago, visited with Mrs. Chris Nelson from Friday noon until Saturday. Miss Myrtle Piper who has been attending summer school at Oshkosh, arrived home Saturday afternoon. Mrs. L. Solverson and children left Saturday morning for Plymouth where they will make their future home.
