News: Butler (15 May 1944)
Surnames: Ditner, Cefasky, Collins, Conklin, Burrington, Morgan, Morrison, Kile, Hall, Kuehl, Cole, Ondol ---Source: Clark County Press (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) Thursday, 15 June 1944 Butler – by Mrs. Fred Morgan Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ditner and family of Cornell visited at the Cole home over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Cefasky and family spent Sunday at the Capp Collins home. Mr. and Mrs. Homer Conklin of Thorp spent Sunday at the home of her son, J. Conklin. Reuben Burrington of Thorp spent the week with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Morgan. Miss Ardith Morrison went to Superior to spend a few weeks with her cousin, Eileen and family. She took the bus from Chippewa Falls Wednesday. Deal Kile is visiting a few days in Stanley with Arthur Ondol, who formerly lived in this neighborhood. Mr. and Mrs. Alpha Hall of Augusta visited at the Hugo Kuehl home Saturday afternoon. They have been visiting relatives in Foster the past week. Mrs. Helen Burrinton and daughters visited relatives in Butler Sunday and attended Sunday school. The Henry Ditner family Mrs. Martha Cole attended the Butler **Rest cut off. **
