Thursday, 13 July 1944 ---Bradbury, Minnie Della (15 Nov. 1868 – 5 July 1944) Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie D. Bradbury were conducted Saturday afternoon, July 8, at 2:30 at the Masonic Temple, in Neillsville. Rev. Floyd A. Fahlgren, pastor of the Methodist Church and members of the Eastern Star officiated at the services. Burial took place in the Neillsville Cemetery beside her husband, who died in 1937. Mrs. Bradbury died at the Neillsville hospital on July 5, after suffering a stroke while at the home of Mrs. N. F. Topline, where she had been making her home for some time. She was born Minnie Della Warren on November 15, 1868, near Sechlerville, Jackson County. She was graduated from the Merrillan High school, and received her teacher’s certificate in Black River Falls. She was married to Edwin Lewis Bradbury on her birthday in 1887 at Sechlerville, where they lived until 1895. Then they moved to Chicago, where her husband attended medical school. In *[portion missing here.] the Presbyterian Church, and after the burning of her church, she was a faithful attendant and worker in the Methodist Church as long as her health permitted. She was a member of Carm Chapter No. 60, O. E. S., of Neillsville and a past matron of that order, also a member of the Royal neighbors. Surviving her are three son: Commander Warren Bradbury of the U. S. Navy; Lt. Commander Wendell Bradbury of the navy, and Capt. Lewis Bradbury of the army. Her youngest sons, Marion, died in 1931. Also surviving are four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a brother, Dr. Basil Warren of Tucson, Ariz. Pallbearers were: Herman North, H. J. Naedler, W. J. Marsh, O. W. Schoengarth, J. L. Neverman and Kurth Liesteman. Funeral arrangements were in charge of the Schiller-Terhune funeral home.
