Fifty relatives and friends enjoyed a dinner and supper there. Gifts and a purse of money were presented to the nuptials. The cake at the center of the table was a three-tier angel food, decorated with roses and silver beads. It was baked by Mrs. Floyd Potts. Among those present beside their six children were – Mr. and Mrs. Louie Brown, LaVern Brown, Irma Nimbar, Mrs. Maggie Gates and Mrs. Christine Macknick, all of Greenwood; Homer Potter, Raymond Potter and Jane Potter of Chili; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Murphy and family of Willard; Mr. and Mrs. Jens Peter Johnson and three children of Thorp; James Redmond, Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Anderegg and family and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Potts of Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. George Schaefer and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Johnson, Mrs. Francis Suckow and Wendell Suckow of the town of Weston.
