----Sanger, Mildred (Marriage - 15 Sept. 1945)

Mr. and Mrs. Norman Faber, newlyweds, have returned from their wedding trip which took them to the northern part of Wisconsin. They are now at home on a farm near Granton, where they will reside.

The bride was Mildred Sanger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Sanger of Chili. She was a graduate of the Marshfield high school with the class of 1942, and attended Central State Teachers’ college. For the past two years she has been teaching in a rural school north of Loyal.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig Faber of Granton. He is a graduate of the Granton high school and has been employed on his father’s farm.

The wedding was celebrated September 15 at the Zion Lutheran church in the town of Fremont. The Rev. Edgar Milleville officiated at the double-ring ceremony. The church was decorated with baskets of dahlias and gladioli.

The bride’s gown had a sheer eyelet bodice with a ruffled sweetheart neckline and a sheer ninon skirt extending into a court train. Her ankle length veil was held in place by a rhinestone beaded headdress.

The maid of honor was Mrs. Alvin Roehl, a sister of the bride, who wore a pink ninon gown. The bridesmaids, Lila Roehl and Mrs. Robert Spiegelberg, wore blue brocaded taffeta and sheer blue crepe gowns, respectively.

The groom was attended by Alvin Roehl.

Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents.
