Surnames: Zeier, Schoettler, Schweiger --------- The Loyal Tribune 29 January 1942 --------- Schoettler, Leona (22 NOV 1942) At a recent Zeier family reunion, held in celebration of the 40th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Zeier at their home in Wausau, announcement was made of the marriage of Miss Leona Schoettler, Wausau, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Schoettler of Loyal, to Alfred Zeier, son of Mr. and Mrs. Zeier. The marriage was solemnized in Pine City, Minn., Nov. 22. Sixteen guests attended the reunion dinner. In addition to the immediate members of the Zeier family attending were Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Schoettler and son Donald and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Schweiger and daughter Nancy of Loyal. Mrs. Schweiger is a sister to the bride. The bride is a graduate of Loyal High School. Following her graduation she was employed in the office of Dr. LeGault here and also after he went to Owen. She resigned her position to enter Wausau Memorial hospital as a student nurse. After finishing her nursing course she remained in that hospital and is now supervising nurse there. The Tribune joins the many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Zeier in extending congratulations. |
