Let Kraus & Kersten take your measure for a suit, Sept. 27 and 28. Miss A. E. Bedrowski of Chicago was the guest of Mrs. Ed Zillmann Wednesday and Thursday. Get your clothes made in Colby, by Fleischauer, the tailor. The clover heads are full of seeds, so look out for the Clover Huller, George Schneider is on the way. Georgas, the milliner, announces her winter millinery opening in this issue. Read her advertisement. Mr. and Mrs. John Eckoff of Hayward visited Tuesday, in this city, with Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schwierske. Mrs. M. Bredemeyer went to Menasha, Saturday, for a few days visit with Mr. and Mrs. Geo. M. Thompson. Buy your canning pears now at $1.25 per bushel, at Fleischmann’s City Bakery and Grocery Store. Herbert Kuentz and Hugo Reyer left for Madison, the first of the week, to resume their studies at the University. Ten of our citizens took the special train for the Chippewa Fair, this morning. Many others went by automobiles. “The Passing of the Oklahoma Outlaws” is something different. Shown at the Rex Sept. 27. Misses Hattie Johnson and Madeline Reyer went down to Stevens Point, Monday, for another school year work at the Normal. Mrs. S. LaBudde and daughter Bertha left for Stevens Point, Saturday, to get in readiness for the opening of the Normal School. Mrs. Henry C. Kliefoth and her mother, Mrs. H. Hutton, went to Marshfield, Tuesday, to visit Henry Kliefoth at the hospital. Mrs. John Will and her friend, Mrs. ? Knauf of Sheboygan, are here visiting the Frome and Will families, in the city and towns surrounding. Get your canning pears while the selection is good, at Fleischmann’s City Bakery & Grocery Store.
